Students enrolled prior to Fall 2010

The Certificate in Technology and Communication was revised in Fall 2010 to a program offering three courses.

Students enrolled prior to Fall 2010 are governed by the curriculum in effect at that time, which included five courses:

  • JOMC 710: “Computing Concepts and Issues: Power Tools for the Mind”
  • JOMC 711: “Writing for Digital Media”
  • JOMC 712: “Visual Communication and Web Design” (As of Fall 2010, this course is known as “Visual Communication and Multimedia.”)
  • JOMC 713: “Global Impact of New Communication Technologies”
  • JOMC 714: “Database and Web Research: Strategies for Finding Information Online”

Students enrolled prior to Fall 2010 must complete any four of these five courses to receive the Certificate.
