Students enrolled prior to Fall 2014

Effective Fall 2014, the Certificate in Technology and Communication will update its course offerings to include a new course in place of JOMC 714 “Database and Web Research.” Please see the May 2014 memo to Certificate students for more details.

Students enrolled prior to Fall 2014 are governed by the curriculum in effect at that time, which includes the following three courses:

  • JOMC 711: “Writing for Digital Media”
  • JOMC 712: “Visual Communication and Multimedia”
  • JOMC 714: “Database and Web Research”

Students enrolled prior to Fall 2014 must complete these three courses to receive the Certificate. Click to download a PDF of your Student Handbook.

JOMC 714 “Database and Web Research” will be taught for its last two times in Fall 2014 and Spring 2015. There are enough seats in these two sections to accommodate all students that need JOMC 714 to complete the program. We are offering it in two semesters to guarantee students have ample time and flexibility to complete the course before it is discontinued. Current Certificate students should make plans now for completion of their Certificate by planning to complete JOMC 714 in the 2014-2015 academic year.
