Registration

Offered in summer 2020: MEJO 713: Digital Data and Analytics

To register:

  1. New students: Complete the steps outlined on our Getting Started page.
  2. All students: Complete the online registration form, which you should receive via email from the Office of Graduate Studies. The registration email is scheduled to go out  Friday, Feb. 21. If you have not received it by that afternoon, please email mjgrad@unc.edu.
  3. Students not enrolled in the previous semester (including newly admitted students who did not apply for residency as part of their program application): If you wish to be classified as a North Carolina resident for tuition purposes, please complete this two-step process:
    1. Apply for residency via the new online application at ncresidency.org.
    2. Input your residency certification number in your ConnectCarolina Student Center to attach your residency decision to your student file with the university. You will need your Onyen and password to access ConnectCarolina. Under “Personal Information” on the left side of the page, click the “NC Residency Reconsideration or Appeal” link to enter your number. Please note:
      1. Students currently classified as N.C. residents should not reapply through the new system. If you do not know your residency status, please ask the MJ-school Office of Graduate Studies, at mjgrad@unc.edu. (The status check on the RDS website is only for students who have used the new RDS system to apply.)
      2. You will need your social security and driver’s license numbers, and possibly those of your spouse, for the application.
      3. Information about residency criteria and the application process is available on The Graduate School’s website and in the university’s residency guide.
  4. Newly admitted students and continuing students registering during early registration (before pre-pay deadline): You will be billed for your tuition by the University Cashier. However, your registration may be canceled without notice if you fail to pay by the payment deadline. Once your tuition is paid, a tuition receipt can be printed from your ConnectCarolina Student Center.
  5. Continuing students: After early registration, you will need to pay your tuition before your registration can be processed.
